Our Australia Trip
We're off. 9th June 2014 at 11:17 AM, that was our departure date, as soon as we had just driven out of grandma's driveway, dad told us our jobs... Sol's was to calculate how much time we had between each stop, Ayla's job was to calculate how much money we had spent on petrol and finally, my job was to calculate the kilometres we have driven over. So far... 9km.
14 Km. We have been driving quite a while. We stopped at a petrol station half way from here and grandma's to get some fuel, most of time we were listing to this audio book called 'War Horse' it's very interesting, its about a horse in 1918 sent to war and misses his owner called Albert but Albert isn't actually his owner Albert's father is but he treats the horse Albert called 'Joey' really awfully.
23km so far, Ayla insisted to watch 'Frozen' and I DON'T LIKE IT!!! The graphics are ok but it's so girly one example is if you have cast a internal winter on a town... YOU DON'T SING ABOUT IT!!! So don't watch it because its a BAD movie!!!
We have stopped at mum's cousins place in Lithgow they live right next to the war park. They have a dog called Spike who is very, very, VERY playful and will do about anything if the reward is food. When Sol and I went to the War area we pretended that the war was on and we were shooting the other base or HQ as we called them.
Back on the road again, Sol and Ayla continued watching Frozen NOTICE I DIDN'T MENTION SELF!!! Ayla said that Frozen is her favourite move :-0. SERIOUSLY. We were going to mum's friend Sally's place at Bathurst, the drive would take about 60km or 1 hour. We stopped half way there to get some auto repairs or something like that... a long wait.
I discovered that we were installing a hitch on the caravan that cost us $440
1 hr 30 min later... still here!!! I can't believe we are still here while mum and dad talk with the man. Sol and Ayla are getting reckless by blow bubble gum on each other its going get in their hair!!! (I hope)
>:-( we are still !$&@?#%*ING here I'm getting annoyed now because Sol and Ayla ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! WHY CAN'T GET ANY PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!
We drove our last 55km until we got to Sally's house, she has 4 kids all older than me. Our dinner there was cannelloni and bread Ayla loved it but Sol and I weren't so keen. After that we watched Mr. Bean The Movie with Sally's kids: Jess, Ben, Adam and Brad.
9:04 PM mum and dad are setting up the beds in the caravan while I write this, we are sleeping in Sally's driveway tonight. This is the end of the first day around Australia.
10th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Second Day
When I woke up the next day I have rice bubbles for breakfast, Sol had weekbix and Ayla had cereal. Before Sally's kids could drive them self into school mum came in a said "how about a picture?"
We all went back inside Sally's house after we did our maths. Sol, Ayla and I played with their dog Beau, pronounced Bow (he's a
Boy) he's different to Spike because he doesn't seem to take any interest to most food but he's still playful.
Were going to Dubbo and so far ... 300km. For lunch we had bread rolls, Sol didn't want his so I secretly ate it for him >:-) while eating dad asked us some maths questions.
400km so far, We watched Madagascar, Ayla and I always cracked up at the funny parts. The ratings were: Sol 1/5, Ayla 5/5 and me 4/5.
When we got to our destination, Wanda Wandong in Goobang National park then Sol, Ayla and I went around the campsite to explore, Sol tried to find some Kangaroos, Ayla went to the toilet while I rode my bike around the circulating path.
It was getting dark as Sol and I went over to the stumps guiding the path to meditate on, it ended as a shoving off the stump match, typical eh?
When we finally went back the caravan dad took us back outside and walked with us around the path asking us math problems we had just arrived back at the caravan in time for dinner. I had spaghetti with barbecue sauce while the others had salmon spaghetti and we all had apricot nectar for our drink then we were sent to bed.
11th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Third Day
When I woke up I suddenly felt the hard ceiling on my head then I remembered that I slept in the bunk that night.
For breakfast I had porridge in bed, then when I woke up mum told us kids that we had to go outside and do the H.S.I.E. tasks that she had set.
When we finally got back we did our maths. Sol and I went back to the stumps and continued the shoving match.
I rode my bike for a while. When I got back to the caravan I saw mum checking my answers on maths and I only got one wrong!!!
Not much after that, all we did was have morning tea and get in the car. Bourke So far 320km. We stopped halfway at a stop at Nyngan for lunch, also we are running low on fuel!!!
Out of fuel, every drop gone. Mum and dad signalled a truck and hopefully found us some fuel. FINGERS CROSSED!!!
Got some fuel but now the engine is stuck because air got in the tank, ARGGH!!!
Somehow the 2 men got the air out of the tank, YAY and we continued to Bourke. We set our caravan for the night(s) to come. There was a park at the caravan park, YAY that was the kids hideout (don't tell anyone.)
WOW I can't believe that our third day day is gone already!!! I wonder what we will do tomorrow?
12th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Forth Day
When I woke up we had all gone to the breakfast place outside and have breakfast, I had rice bubbles and toast.
After breakfast Sol and I went to the park and I almost lost my breakfast on the merry go round thing!!!
We went out for some fresh air at the outback show, but when we got there we realised that we had come an 1hr late and It was already over, so we went to look at other things. The main thing that caught my attention when we were walking was the Murray-Darling River because one Sydney Harbour goes through it each day one on average!!! The best thing that I saw on our excursion was the flock of birds there was about 999999999 birds in the sky!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also we went on this bridge called North Bourke Bridge apparently its 100 years old and it was made in England and was transported by roller boats, we thought that it was were they filmed Russel Coight doing his fail bridge jump in the tv series 'All Aussie Adventures' its really REALLY funny!!!
The rest of the time we were driving was getting wi-fi fir the caravan or something.
For dinner I had pasta with sauce. After dinner I went on the swings.
We are going to bed now and I can't sleep i'm to excited and I just can't hide (no seriously Sol couldn't sleep because of me.)
13th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Fifth Day
Don't you hate waking up and needing to go to the toilet well this seems to happen every day with me in the caravan and thats not all either, because dad says that once someone gets up their not allowed to get back in!!!
After I eventually got up and was late for breakfast because I slept in plus, I needed to go the toilet.
All I had for breakfast was rice bubbles,
When I got back from breakfast I did my maths and got 20/20 YAY!!!
We don't know if the outback show is going to be on because its raining so we might not go :-( but dad is going to ask if its on.
Oh no the outback show isn't on because its been washed out, so we had to continue our next campsite. So far we had driven 200km and we watched Judy Moody And The Not Bummer Summer, bo-ring
After that horrid movie, dad told some math problems I went pretty well, I guess...
When we finally got to our destination Wilcannia, Ayla and I rushed to the bathroom but it STANK bad so I went to the caravan toilet instead. Then Sol and Ayla went to the playground (a really babyish one) and started playing while I started to get some fire wood for the fire.
For dinner we had chicken schnitzel and spaghetti YUM.
Now we are going to bed and we are all wondering what to do tomorrow, hmmm I wonder?
14th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Sixth Day
All I'll tell you is that we drove 400km to Pincally because I ran out of battery yesterday and couldn't write what we did.
15th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Seventh Day
When I woke up to the sound of the goats in the paddock we had camped in. We had Sol's damper for breakfast on a fire we had made, the damper was ok but gooey.
When we all had our breakfast we went to the man who let us stay in his property and watch his men who he had hired to shear his sheep and sort them into boys and girls. After that we went to his house. By the way the man owns 6516 acres of property.
The man had 3 daughters, but one of them is at boarding school, the other 2 girls do there school by the air (on radio) and they ride MOTER CYCLES!!!!!!!!!!!
When we got back from the house we had lunch (soup) *bleegh* what a disgusting lunch!!!
Soon after that the man's second oldest daughter Lucy came with her teacher and we (meaning Sol, Ayla, Lucy and I) all built 3 teepees for animals. We were all talking about the flys, and apparently in Summer they are much, MUCH worse!!!
After they left it started to get dark so we started to set up our fire to keep mosquitos away.
While the fire was running we had dinner it was rice and potatoes fir desert we had custard then we brushed our teeth and went to bed.
16th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Eighth Day
I had a giant sleep in this morning and I only just got breakfast, and what I had was rice bubbles and Sol's damper.
The damper was good but I don't really like the crust because it was a bit burnt.
After breakfast we went up to the man's house and we did 'the school of the air with with his kids.
When we had finished dad set the caravan to go. While we were driving we watched 'Judy Moody And The Not Bummer Summer' AGAIN!!!
When we got to our destination, Tibooburra Sol and Ayla screeched like a
Banshee at me because I was beating them in a walking back and forth on a dirt mound match, I mean, what the !?$&@%#*!!!
When it was over (finally) I went in the car and thought about our trip and were to go next.
17th June 2014
Our Australia Trip Ninth Day
The usual in the morning, had peanut butter and rice bubbles for breakfast and doing math mentals and I got 18/20... good I guess
After we had done all the morning work I went to this rock mountain and called it Mount Olympus in honour to the gods.
Then we brought mum to Mt Olympus and we found 2 dead kangaroos and a dead bandicoot, poor guys :-(.
Then we went to a pub thats soo cool that time goes backwards (no seriously, there was a clock that went backwards).

Then we got ready to go to Northern Flinders Ranges and half way there we had a stop for lunch and the flys were MASSIVE and we barely got it finished.
And then we watched Frozen AGAIN WAAAAAAAAAAAH I WAS SOO ANNOYED!!!
Our campsite was just a boring landscape (yawn) and I helped set up the caravan and then I got some fire wood and IT WAS AS HEAVY AS SHADE WOOD!!! (People who play Terraria would know what shade wood is.)
Dinner was spaghetti and dessert was... Nothing :-(.
Then, like all the other times, we were sent to bed.

Outside the restaurant was a 'pussy willow', not a real one but a tree with dead cats hanging on it. We took a picture of it of us under it.
Then we left the caravan at Williams Creek and drove to Lake Air. My shoes got so-o-o-o muddy!!! When we were driving back we watched 'A Fare To Remember The Great Taxi Adventure'. It was a bit interesting but we didn't finish it. When we got back it was 7:00pm so we hitched up the caravan and drove to Cooberpedy.

After our walk we got rewarded by watching 'Spider Man' (finally a good movie) but the bad news was the car was soo bumpy that the movie got scratched soo bad. So we couldn't watch the movie, instead I read my book, 'The Rangers Apprentice, The Ruins Of Gorlam', its really interesting.
We saw a dingo running across the road and some wild horses, yay before coming to our campsite.

Summary Of The Days I Have Missed Out On
After Wolfe Creek we had a loong drive to a river camp outside of Wolfe Creek. Sol, Ayla and I went to find some cows, then we went to Wyndham for a sleep we went to this really fun old train station that you could play on. Mum and Dad were the cops and the kids (us) were the robbers.
Then we went to El Questero, which was by far the best place ever!!! First of all there were horses you could ride, birds to watch, The Majestic Wedge Tail Eagles soaring overhead, warm pools at Zebedee Springs at 34* C, but best of all was Amalia Gorge, it was the best not only the water was perfect but there was this awesome natural diving board made of rock over the water in the deepest bit of the lake, it was awesome.
Then we went to a peaceful truck stop next to Lake Argyle, the biggest fresh water lake in Australia. (Even though there are salt water crocodiles in there, weird huh?)
Now we are at Purnululu near the Bungle Bungles we had a whole day away from the caravan walking at South End then going to North End by doing Echidna Chasm (Sol wasn't that enthusiastic to do Echidna Chasm, he said it was bo-ring.)
Then the next day we drove to Geike Chasm, we walked 4km an-n-n-nd didn't see any crocs, sadly :-(.
Then the next day we went to Tunnel Gorge, it was awesome because we walked into this cabe filled with water to wade through to get to the rewarding swimming hole at the end (know wonder it was called Tunnel Gorge, eh?) the pool was nice and relaxing, friends, you have to go here!!!
Wind Jama Gorge on a 3.5km walk. Mum, Sol, Ayla and I were exhausted and only dad could finish the walk, while we were walking towards the destination and back we saw millions of Freshies (Fresh Water Crocodiles).
The next day we drove to Broome and Spent pretty much the entire day in the car (good news is............ IT'S DADS BIRTHDAY TODAY, so I gave him a card saying on the cover... I have something for you and on the inside it says... You're holding it... He laughed. We had a stop at a park for dad's birthday lunch, we had cheese and bacon rolls, dad and I had chocolate milk, Sol and Ayla had strawberry while mum had iced coffee, I had a sip and it was... DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So that is the summery of the days I missed out on (sorry if I haven't written down any thing for a lo-ong time, its because we haven't had wi-fi for ages!!!
Posted on: 7th August 2014
Summery, yes I'll be doing summerys from now on
So we are a a Broome campsite, and I met a boy named Isaac who had 4 sisters and we always hung out every second to spare, it was kinda fun having a friend and have a break with the family.
We went to the Cable Beach with Isaac and his family and went on our inflatable row boat, it was fun since the waves we HUGE!!!
The crocodile park was AWESOME, because we got to hold some baby Salty's. there was also some, alligators and (my favourite) Galahs you could pat!!!
We had dropped our caravan outside of Broome to go in tents for 5 days.
Out first place we camped at was at Gambanan but we got there in the evening so we went to bed after setting up the tents.
The next day we drove to Kooljaman and by the time we got there it was dark. So we set up the tents, but I went in the hammock for the entire night.
The next morning we got introduced to the family opposite us. They had two kids named Lucas (10) and Sandon (14) they told me about the Green Tree Frogs in the tank of the toilet and brought me there, they were so-o-o cute and at first I was scared to pick them up so they put them in my hands then I mastered it by far, I visited them every day (and Sandon and Lucas.)
We went snorkelling with them and we went so far out on the rocks that we the tide went up we had to swim all the way back. I got lucky and only got 2 small cuts on the jagged oysters while mum and Mirian (Sandon and Lucas's mum) were practically bleeding to death. (We all dosed our hands and feet in salt water after.
We left the next day with our friends to Middle Lagoon but they only stayed for one night so me and Lucas went to the toilets to find do frogs and we found one which didn't really want to be picked up (in code: it peed on us)
The next day when they were about to leave we gave each other personal stuff like phone numbers and stuff to keep in contact.
Today, mum spent the entire day on the beach and we just (to be honest) did nothing interesting at all and you would probably not be interested.

Today we left Wildfire Camping and went back to Broome and unfortunately didn't meet Isaac :-(.
So we had lunch and continued our journey south to Port Hedland and set up camp.
I woke up the next morning and went out to breakfast, I looked out over the water and saw dorsal fins sticking out of the water. SHARKS!!! I yelped, my family looked out to the water, but dad shook his head, no Kai, those are dolphins.
So we drove to into Port Hedland and went to a swimming pool and it was AWESOME!!! It was s-o-o warm, Sol and I did 4 laps and them splashed around.
Then we went to Tognolini next to a mountain we spent 2 nights there and in that time we a walk at Karajini Nation Park. Dad told us not to touch anything because apparently there are traces of asbestos the toxic substance. We walked to the Kalamina Arc and climbed up.
Then we went to Kermits Pool and the water was ICY!!! Sol and mum did the spider walk at the other side while I swan in the ICY water.

Summery
Sorry that I haven't been writing any blog post lately. Its because we had no wi-fi.
So anyway, we are at Parabudoo and there is this awesome bird which I named Dusty, because hid face was all dusty, so he was re-e-e-e-lly friendly, the day we found him (breakfast) he was on our outside table looking at us, he hopped down when we had breakfast and I gave him some sesame seeds from the cereal. He loved them :-D, he started following me around the caravan park, probably asking for more seeds, I don't know what kind of bird he was but here is the pics --->
If you know which bird it is please tell me in the comments.
Anyway today we went out to dinner.
Dang!!! Dusty isn't here today ;-(.
Today we went on a tour around Tom Price, we stopped at the mine and It. Was. So. AWESOME.
Today we didn't do anything just sat around relaxing.
The next day we went to Coral Bay and had fun, because there was an awesome jumping pillow, we went snorkelling and I saw 5 big sting rays all on one rock.
We went to the Cape Range and went snorkelling (again) and saw this HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE blue star fish a-a-a-a-nd a lot of sea cucumbers and fish.

We got to our camp spot and I went on the beach and the waves were SO AWESOME!!! They were HUGE!!! I got dunked a million times and loved it!!! When we left Red Bluff we visited the blow holes again and they went CRAZY!!! Dad and I nearly got swept out to sea.
Our camp stop was at Carnarven and did nothing.
End of Summery.

Summery
After Carnarven, we went to Monkey Mia, the dolphin resort.
When the dolphins were getting fed, I was lucky enough to get chosen. I waded up to the hungry dolphin, which opened its beak and I dropped the fish in its mouth.
We went swimming some hours later and found a dolphin swimming right under us, It stared at us for a second before taking flight.
After our dolphin experience we went to the most westerly part of Australia the waves CRASHED against the jagged rocks spraying us with awful tasting salt water (yes it got in MY mouth, typical me)
Our next stop was a lo-o-o-o-ng drive to Perth (WOO HOO we're half way there) were we met an old University friend of mum's, Nickol, she had a husband named Nick and the daughter (oldest to youngest) Elizabeth, 9, Jamie,7 and Poppy, 4.
They had a Lord Of The Rings LEGO set which I made for them a little credit to Jamie, though ;-). The set was called The Black Gates, they also have the set the Black Pearl (Pirates Of The Caribbean) which was beyond awesomeness.
After Perth we went to down to Pinjarra and fed some (awesome) horses and didn't do much else.
We are at Cowaramup with lots of statues of cows every were because of the name, 'COWaramup' also there was a awesome sweet shop which was EPIC Sol bought liquorice and Ayla got rainbow coloured icing over sherbet, I had my eye on some Fart Bombs but 'Obnoxious Mum' said no.

Summery
Okay we are at Busselton and we found this garden, full of gnomes and when I mean full, I mean FULL!!!!!!!!!!!! It at least stretched 7km long, WOW, WOW, WOW!!!(if this text could go any bigger it would go a MILE high!!!).
Now after the gnomes we went to this big jetty, and had to pay to fish :-0, so we went to the (small) jetty next to it and it said, NO FISHING. That drove us nuts!!!
The next day we went to Mammoth Cave, it was really cool because we got to go anywhere in the massive mouth (cave).
The we we went to 2 light houses, yes Tom Wild (if you are reading this) are you getting excited or what? But sadly we couldn't go up in nether of them. The first one was calm, and mild but the second was showered with rain, wind and people trying the escape from the frenzy. The wind was so strong you could lean on it, I would hate to be on the top.
Next we went to a Bicentennial Tree and it reached 75 m up!!! It was cold and rainy, so we got to the 25 rung before going down.
Then we went on a walk to a view, when we were walking back, dad and Ayla went one way while mum and I went the other, Sol was in the car, mum said that I had 4 weeks left till school, wow. Harry, Elliott and Tom I miss you SOOOOO much :-).
Then we went to a powered site, blah, blah, blah, recharged my iPod, blah, blah, blah, did some maths, blah, bla... WHAT!!!
Then we camped on the out-skirts of Albany and the next day went to this AWESOME ship, called The Brig Amity, IT WAS SO COOL, YOU COULD CLIMB THE RIGGING, TURN THE WHEEL, GO BELOW DECKS, GO IN BEDS, GO THE THE CROWS NEST, AND MORE. The only bad thing was... NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The we went to a whaling station with a ship and a cinema and stuff.
Now we are at Porongurup with a goat, 2 dogs and a family.
End of Summery
Summary
We are at Porongurup and we had done loads of stuff, like feeding black pigs, collecting chicken eggs, feeding fish and minding veggie gardens.
When we were leaving Porongurup the dogs, Misty, Maggi and Jack ere all rewarded with a game of fetch. I had a cuddle with the little boy (forgot his name) drove him around in his 'Little Tikes' car and (in our car) drove off.
We are at Wave Rock man, surf's up, woo hoo. Wave Rock is a multi-coloured rock with slippery surfaces, under and information table (didn't read it :-0) was a boogie board!!!
Today we had been driving up to Esperance and getting our supplies checked up before making our way across the bite. We mum and dad were washing up the clothes I went to macca's for lunch and got a $1.50 scone with jam and cream, but they gave me no cream, just butter and strawberry jam >:-(.
While we were driving out of Esperance we saw a couple of dead kangaroos :-( and live kangaroos :-) and live birds :-) and fairies, wait what?
Then stopped at Madura Pass and mum and dad had to chuck our lemons that we were going to use for lemonade, while mum and dad chucked the fruit and veggies we stay in the car and I played my iPod.
We have stopped at Venus Bay and at 11:00pm we (meaning dad, Sol, Ayla and I) watched Snow White and the Huntsman, (freaky).

Summary
After Venus Bay we drove to Coffin Bay, we all thought that there would be some rock that looked like a coffin but no, nothing.
On the way I called Harry (private conversation)
After Coffin Bay we went to Port Lincoln for some supplies and tried to get the tv in the car fixed (successful).
We drove up to Whyalla and while mum and dad fished, us kids were playing in the (lame) park.
The next day we continued our sudden surge up The Peninsula to Port Augusta (the end of The Bite) but we didn't stop we drove right through it (the entire day in the car) to Cadell. We had to go on a ferry across the river. Cadell was a really nice spot, it had a nice park made of metal instead of those plastic junk parks. Mum and I went on a walk to a bird hide and came back at 8:55 pm. anyway, Ayla wanted to watch tv, but dad said no and Ayla went in the drama and calmed down only when desert was served (Cadbury chocolate) typical.
Today Ayla and Sol went out until lunch for and 'adventure' they called it. But today for the rest of us was our lazy day.
