Trial run in the van - Jervis Bay Easter 2014

Stuck in holiday traffic at Kiama: first night in the van - cul-de sac at Callala Beach! Actually it was a great spot, 10 metres from the beach and the old stomping ground of my childhood. Moved on fairly early next morning after beach visit but had a good night and slept comfortably. For a first night: not bad!
Moved on to beautiful Honeymoon Bay also on Jervis Bay - its a west facing beach on the east coast, how often do you come across that in these parts? Sun drenched beach in afternoon followed by fabulous sunsets over the water. It was the last hurrah of summer and we enjoyed the sand and the water. In between enjoying our surroundings Cem and I also familiarised ourselves with the van; that was the objective of the trip afterall.
Point Perpendicular cliffs and a popular spot for rock fishing. Big climb down with picnic halfway
Waterfront position at 28. I think I'm not going to be able to go back to a tent after the relative luxury this caravan provides. We all managed a hot shower after we figured out the pump and the hot water unit, how amazing is that? - I'm used to days of rugged tent camping, so this is really 5 Star. We just have to get the WC figured out now.
